Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program to Reward Collectors for Finding Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has launched a groundbreaking initiative called ‘The Ten’. This program aims to highlight and reward collectors for discovering the top 10 sports cards in the market. Drawing inspiration from popular lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, ‘The Ten’ showcases a dynamic selection of 10 cards across various sports. Collectors who successfully pull one of these cards on the Fanatics Live app will receive a whopping $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit.

‘The Ten’ features a monthly rotation of cards chosen for their popularity and rarity. These cards include highly coveted treasures like the 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list of ‘The Ten’ includes legendary athletes such as Tom Brady and Steph Curry, as well as rising stars like MLB’s Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, and NBA’s Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. This diverse portfolio encompasses cards from top brands in the sports card industry, including Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, the senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s goal of enhancing the collecting experience and their commitment to giving back to collectors and the hobby. ‘The Ten’ fosters community engagement by allowing Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community to have a say in the monthly card selections.

In addition to rewarding collectors, ‘The Ten’ also serves as a platform to promote new products and reinvigorate interest in existing releases through chase cards. It creates excitement and encourages discussions within the community while providing dealers and collectors with an opportunity to showcase these special cards.

To celebrate major discoveries and announce upcoming cards, Fanatics Live plans to feature pack and box breaks, as well as special shows centered around ‘The Ten’. A dedicated webpage will track the cards and their finders, adding to the narrative and building anticipation.

What sets ‘The Ten’ apart is its storytelling aspect. The program focuses on the stories behind the collectors and their finds, offering a unique and personal touch to the collecting experience. By highlighting the passionate collectors and showcasing their discoveries, ‘The Ten’ adds depth and meaning to the hobby.

Since its debut, Fanatics Live has experienced consistent growth, with an average watch time of 56 minutes. This highlights the platform’s emergence as a community-focused destination for collectors. James Kollar is excited about the potential impact of ‘The Ten’ on not only the Fanatics brand but also the collector community as a whole.

‘The Ten’ program by Fanatics Live is set to revolutionize the way collectors engage with sports cards. By combining the thrill of discovery, the opportunity for substantial rewards, and the power of storytelling, this initiative is sure to captivate collectors and bring renewed excitement to the hobby. So, keep your eyes peeled for ‘The Ten’ and get ready to embark on a thrilling collecting journey.
