Whatnot, a popular online marketplace, has recently launched its exciting new Rewards Club to elevate the buyer-seller interaction experience. This innovative loyalty program is set to simplify transactions, monitor interactions, and provide enjoyable rewards and recognition for both buyers and sellers.
What is Rewards Club all about?
The Whatnot Rewards Club is an achievement-based loyalty program that aims to benefit sellers by helping them expand their businesses while also tracking buyer interactions and offering rewards. This initiative is always active, user-friendly, and encourages deeper connections between buyers and sellers, ultimately boosting repeat purchases.
Tailored for Sellers
Understanding that every seller’s business is unique, the Rewards Club is designed to be customizable, allowing sellers to tailor the loyalty program to suit their specific community and business objectives.
Structure of the Program
The Rewards Club is structured into five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Each tier corresponds to a specific number of achievements set by the seller. Achievements can range from the number of shows watched, purchases made, to the total amount spent on the platform.
Exciting Rewards and Benefits
Members of the Rewards Club can unlock various rewards and benefits by progressing through the tiers. These may include status badges, coupons (in dollar or percentage value, and free shipping), as well as exclusive access to tier-specific shows. Membership into the program is automated upon achieving the set criteria.
Seasonal Refresh
To keep the excitement alive, the Rewards Club programs reset every three months, giving sellers an opportunity to refine and enhance their offerings. The seasonal schedule includes Winter (December-February), Spring (March-May), Summer (June-August), and Fall (September-November).
Flexibility is Key
The Rewards Club is versatile and designed to adapt to the diverse needs of different sellers. Sellers have the liberty to set achievement thresholds and select rewards that align best with their business strategies.
Managing Tiers and Achievements
Sellers can create their own achievements that buyers must fulfill to unlock tiers. They can initiate their program at any time during a season and make adjustments at the end of each season as required.
Beta Testing and Launch Details
Currently, the Rewards Club is undergoing beta testing until August 31, with the official Season 1 launch scheduled for September 1. During the beta phase, sellers can edit their tiers and cancel their program by contacting their Account Manager or Whatnot Support.
How to Get Involved
To join the waitlist for early access to edit tiers for the Season 1 launch, interested parties can sign up on the Whatnot platform.
Criteria for Sellers
Sellers interested in participating in the Rewards Club should meet the following requirements:
– Processed 50 or more non-giveaway orders
– Earned over $1,000 on Whatnot
– Been a seller for a minimum of 30 days
– Maintain a seller rating of 4.8 or higher
– Not be on a second offense in any violation category
For Buyers
Buyers automatically become part of a seller’s Rewards Club upon making a purchase. Coupons and rewards can be effortlessly managed through the Rewards Club overview page, with a note that purchases made using coupons are final.
Tracking Achievements
Achievements are calculated based on the total spending, inclusive of taxes and shipping costs. Discounts applied through coupons do not contribute towards the spending achievements.
Privacy and Visibility Controls
Members have the option to display or hide their Rewards Badges during live shows, thus ensuring that privacy preferences are respected.
Questions and Support
As the Rewards Club unfolds, Whatnot is readily available to assist with any concerns or inquiries. Sellers and buyers are encouraged to reach out to Whatnot’s support team for guidance and support throughout their Rewards Club journey.
